Crawf Weir has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 15 years. He has a deep understanding of anatomy and is a seasoned meditation practitioner.
Private Lessons are a way to deepen your practice and fulfil your potential, not just in the yoga room but in all aspects of your life. There are 3 types of Private Lessons available:
In these sessions you wil learn how to develop a skillful yoga practice where you really understand what you are doing and why you are doing it, so that you have more confidence in class and receive greater benefits.
You will learn a simple daily practice of yoga and meditation tailored to your needs.
You will be prescribed ‘5 Golden Postures’ that give your body what it needs to stay strong and mobile. You will also establish a meditation practice that develops wisdom and compassion.
Crawf Weir is a certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner (Level 1).
The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of psychotherapy that is powerfully healing and deeply respectful of our inner life.
Meditation helps us dto develop inner peace. IFS helps us to turn that energy into action, in terms of living our daily lives in a way that reflects the beauty that is inside every one of us.
IFS works on the basic assumption that the mind consists of a number of subpersonalities or “parts”. You will notice this when a friend asks you to an event and you say’part of me wants to go butpart of me doesnt’. We speak for our parts all the time and we dont even notice it. Some parts like each other and some parts don’t. Often theres an inner confict going on whilst we are trying to get on with our lives.
At the core of who we are there is a Self. The Self has the following qualities: calmness, curiosity, clarity, compassion, confidence, creativity, courage, and connectedness.
The goal of IFS therapy is to become more Self-Led by understanding and appreciating these different ‘parts’ and letting go of the burdens that we have held onto for years. You feel at ease with who you are, more confident and more relaxed with others.
