Many of our teachers here at Barefoot Yoga have trained with Sarah Powers. Yin Yoga focuses on poses that target the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine. Poses are held for long periods to encourage muscles to lengthen and open. Yin Yoga can be quite physically intensive and are perfect for students wanting to increase their flexibility and bring a more meditative and introspective aspect to their practice.
